“MON ONCLE” in Hünningen

The fourth station of the Museum für Zeichnung takes us to the hedge-lined landscape of the Belgian Ardennes Region.  The little town of Hünningen near Büllingen lies in the German-speaking region of Belgium. From Cologne, Aachen, Maastricht and Luxemburg it takes about an hour to get there by car.

Spread out over three rooms, original drawings from the collection of the Museum für Zeichnung are being shown in a former stables. In a reading room of its own that affords a vast view to the landscape, it is possible to thumb through books about drawing.
With drawings by Stephan Andreae, Martin Assig, Monika Bartholomé, Claus Böhmler, Claudia Busching, Dan Devening, Blalla Hallmann, Paul Heimbach, Mathew Kneebone, Eva Kot’átková, Nanne Meyer, Volker Saul, Tomas Schmit, Eva-Maria Schön, Fritz Schwegler, David Shrigley, Friedemann von Stockhausen, Sean Sullivan, HP Webel, Kurt Wild, and others. In einem eigenen Leseraum mit einem weiten Blick in die Landschaft kann man in Büchern über die Zeichnung stöbern.
